Poetic Cellars is pouring at La Fondue in Saratoga, 11 til 4pm, this Saturday and Sunday, for Vintner’s Festival. Come meet winemaker Katy Lovell,and enjoy her delicious lineup of wines, from the delightful 07 Chestnut Hill Chardonnay to the baked blueberry pie Petite Sirah that everyone’s raving about. La Fondue serves up some excellent chocolate fondues, so decadent! Katy will be among several wineries pouring there, so come join the party!
The Poetic Cellars signature Mourvedre is racy and exciting, and the Syrah is great with all things spicy. The new 2007 Merlot is just what you love about this much maligned grape! Buy a bottle of 2007 Ballad, her wonderful Bordeaux blend, and you’ll sing its praises all the way to the last drop.
Visit the winery off the Vine Hill exit from Hiway 17 and enjoy a sunny table on the flower-filled patio. The winery is open every weekend from noon til 5pm. A great place for a special celebration, wedding or reunion.
