Fees & Deposits. Rental fees range $1,500–2,500 depending on the day of the event. Availability is year-round; Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays; 10:30am–9:30pm.

50% of the total event cost is required to reserve your date and the balance is due 60 days prior to the event. Ceremony Only fee is $1500. Meals range $50–120/person.

Beverage Packages: There is a mandatory Beverage Package from between $18 – $38 pp depending on type of wine, service and personalized labels.

Capacity. Our capacity is based on whether the event is indoors or outdoors.

Ceremony Seated: 80 max indoors, 120 max outdoors

Reception Seated: 120 max indoors, 120 max outdoors

Reception Standing: 80 max indoors, 120 max outdoors

Caterers. Caterers are responsible for all set up before the event and all break down and clean up at the conclusion of the event. Caterers may park at the Barn for convenience in unloading but must then move their vehicles to a designated parking area. Caterers are responsible for sweeping and mopping all areas of the facility used. Any set up and clean up in the outdoor areas is also the responsibility of the caterers. All food and beverage service arrangements and fees are the responsibility of the Applicant. Any alcohol must be provided and served only by Applicant’s Caterer or a licensed provider. It is the responsibility of the Caterer to limit alcoholic consumption and to ensure that guests are not intoxicated on the premises. All outdoor cooking to be done in designated areas only.

Dinnerware, Glassware, Utensils, Etc. Applicant and Applicant’s service providers must provide all desired service ware, glassware, dish-ware, utensils, linens and equipment. Poetic Cellars will not be responsible for any items brought to the property for the event.

Set-Up and Breakdown by Contractors. All contractors will be
responsible for all set up before the event and break down after the
conclusion of the event. All set-ups are to be completed prior to the
published event guest arrival time.

Service Contractors. Caterers, dance music and rental equipment companies must be chosen from the Poetic Cellars preferred vendor list. Poetic Cellars strongly recommends using vendors from our preferred vendor listing for photographers, event planners, florists, decorators, security services, bakeries and shuttle services. Poetic Cellars will allow outside vendors (excluding catering, rental equipment companies and dance music) to provide services on the property. These vendors must sign a Service Provider Agreement and view the property prior to the
applicant’s event.

Event Furniture and Decorations. Poetic Cellars provides tables and chairs for the maximum number of guests allowed at the facility. This includes 25 round tables with seating for 8 to 10 each, and 350 wooden chairs. Tables and chairs will be set up at Applicant’s requested
location by providing the set-up information five (5) business days
prior to the event. The Applicant must provide any desired additional
furniture. The Applicant or Applicants Caterer shall be responsible for
set-up and break down of any additional furniture. Furniture in the
Barn may not be moved unless Poetic Cellars Management agrees to move it at Applicant’s request.

Music and Dancing. Tents are permitted only on the lawn at Poetic Cellars and may result in additional set up charges.  Amplified or acoustic music is allowed inside the winery only. Because we are in an area where sound carries, amplified music must be monitored to keep it from disturbing our neighbors. For this reason, Poetic Cellars Management reserves the right to request a music volume adjustment at any time during the event.  All dancing is limited to inside the winery.

Throwing of Rice, Use of Balloons, Use of Candles. The throwing of rice endangers the wildlife and is prohibited. However, sterilized birdseed may be used. Latex balloons are not permitted on the property, but Mylar balloons are acceptable. Signs and balloons are permitted on public roads, but must be removed by the client or at the client’s expense. Poetic Cellars staff will help direct guests from the entrance to the parking areas. All candles, including unity candles, must be contained by glass. Please no throwing of dark rose petals.

Supervision of Children. Poetic Cellars does not provide childcare. Applicant and Applicant’s guests are required to provide constant supervision of all children attending or participating in the event.

No Smoking. Smoking is not permitted anywhere on the property, Except For the Designated Area in the Parking Lot.

No Pets or Animals. Poetic Cellars is a dog friendly winery, however, during weddings we ask that pets be left at home, except for specially trained animals assisting disabled guests, including Seeing Eye Guide Dogs.

Parking. Parking for a maximum of seventy (70) cars, including those of Applicants, their service contractors and guests, is included in the rental fee. There is absolutely no parking permitted in the event area. Because parking is limited, car-pooling is strongly recommended. Parking spaces for small shuttle buses carrying 28 or fewer people may be available by prior arrangement. No large diesel buses are permitted. Valet parking for a maximum of seventy-five (75) additional cars may be available with prior approval of Poetic Cellars Management for an additional fee.

SECURITY. Such security personnel as Poetic Cellars Management, in consultation with its security advisors, deems reasonably necessary, but in no event less than one employee, shall be present on the Poetic Cellars premises for the entire duration of the event, which person(s) shall have the right, but not the obligation, to direct that alcohol beverage service be discontinued to any apparently inebriated individual(s). Poetic Cellars, at Applicant’s cost, shall have the right to
contract with a private security company to provide such security services for the event.
