Poetic Cellars is located on 36 acres in the beautiful Santa Cruz Mountains overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The temperate climate makes it an ideal location for growing many of the grapes contained in our wines. The cooling ocean air ensures that the grapes have a long growing season and ripen to perfection. The winery’s motto, “A Passion for Excellence” is gleaned from the method used to make our wines. First, only the finest grapes are picked from small lots. From there, our winemaker takes great care to ensure that the complex art of making a fine wine is tended to in every way.
